David is the owner-operator of Pearce Building Systems, Inc., which is a family business serving Statesboro, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. PBS is a design build and general construction firm that began in 1976 by David’s father, James K. Pearce, USMC. Since 1993, PBS has curated lasting partnerships with local community business leaders and ventured into land development with Windward South Co. in 2018. David is also the owner of Bolted Studios, which is a handcrafted, luxurious jewelry store based out of Statesboro, Georgia. David’s connection in GBR lies in his father’s past as a Vietnam veteran. David understood the mission behind GBR – to bring Green Berets, their families, and their friends together; to create a desire in others to experience life outside of service and duty; to better understand that happiness is not around the corner – it is the corner.
Rob was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1998 with a BS in Agricultural Systems Management and was in the Corps of Cadets. He is currently the Senior Account Manager with VAREL Energy Solutions, which focuses on the oil and gas industry, and runs the day-to-day operations at his family ranch in Utopia, Texas. With a passion for racing, especially off-road racing, Rob participates in open wheel and endurance competitions. During the 2020 Mint 400 race, Rob’s team (Razor Dobbs) lined up next to GBR’s racing team and they began talking to one another about the purpose and mission of GBR. Rob loved the mission so much that he joined the team to give back to the veterans who have given so much for our country. His goal is to help push the GBR team forward and help the veteran community in any way possible.
